We Buy Antiques. Are you selling Antiques or Collectables, Second Hand or Deceased Estates
How do we buy items? There are a few ways we can buy from you. If you have an estate to clear or many items to move we can arrange a time to come and visit.
If you have a few items you can come in or send us a few photos to antiquealley@gmail.com. Then we can advise you further via email or give you a call to discuss options.

Do we buy Antiques? We specialise in estate clearance, helping people downsize, lock ups, collections and individual items.
What don't we buy? We do not buy modern furniture, whiteware, broken items, wheelchairs, pianos or electronic goods.
Do we sell on Consignment ? No we do not sell on consignment or on behalf of. We buy items outright.
Purchasing from us
Do we have a shop?
Yes we do. Our brick and mortar store is at 240 Dominion road, Mt Eden Auckland. We have been in business over 50 years in the same iconic location. Adding history and prominence to the Dominion road community.
Do you have more items in store than are online?
We have thousands more items in store than we can add to our online store. We aim to have over a 1000 products online at all times but if there is something you are looking for please get in contact with us via email, Facebook messages or Google message.
Items online and in store
We generally only have one of each item. We can not predict when items are coming in or if they will ever come through our doors again. Once an item has been purchased online we take it off the shop floor for that customer. Same if someone has purchased it in store we then go online and remove it from sale. This can take a few minutes to complete.
Wish List
If there is something you are looking for or wish to purchase, please email, call or contact us via social media and we can keep an eye out for you and email you directly with photos.
Do you sell Vouchers?
Yes we sell vouchers. They can be purchased in store or online. These start at $20. The online vouchers can be ordered and processed on our website. Just choose the value, the email address and message the voucher is to go to and pay via credit card. You or the recipient will receive and email with a unique code to use online when they see something they like.
We offer Layby
We offer traditional in store layby. This is with a down payment of 20% of the full price and paid off within 6 weeks. You will be given a receipt for your item.
Methods of payment
We can receive bank transfers, Via online website purchases, Cash, Visa, Mastercard, and Eftpos. We also offer Paywave in store.
Store operation
Hours of operation
We are open 10am-4pm Weekdays and 10am -3pm on Saturdays. We do not open public holidays. If there are any changes to our hours this is updated on google business under trading times.
Subscribing to our Mailing List
You can sign up to our mailing list which is on the front page of the website, during a purchase or by emailing us at antiquealley@gmail.com. Your email address is secure and will not be given to a third party. We send out one email a month with updates on stock, sales, upcoming dates or events.
Discounts or Sales
From time to time we do run sales. These are communicated via the mailing list, Facebook, instagram and Google. Discounts are added at time of check out on the website and calculated at the time of purchase in store.
Shipping Questions
Who we use for Shipping?
We use NZ Post, NZ Couriers and Aramax. Once your order has been packaged we send you the tracking number via your order. Please insure you add your email address to your order so we can communicate this to you. Once its with the postal company please use this tracking number to track your parcel.
How long does my order take to arrive?
We package and dispatch items within 48 hrs of receiving the order. Once with the post company please track your items via the tracking number we provide. Please be aware we do not post on the weekends or public holidays.
Do we offer delivery?
We can organise delivery of larger items at your request within the Auckland region. The cost will be confirmed during the inquiry.
My order has not arrived?
As we use a third party to ship your purchase, we ask you to use your tracking number which we have provided via your order.
Do we ship outside New Zealand?
We can ship to Australia, this needs to be arranged directly with us prior to purchase. We are unable to ship large items or furniture overseas.
